Vendor needs to provide web health tool software for web applications run in a complex architecture consisting of many tiers and individual components including application servers, network routers, security appliances and databases, the solution must be capable of monitoring applications that run on mainframes, distributed servers, as well as in or from the Cloud, solution must be capable of interfacing with content delivery networks, a content delivery network, or content distribution network, is a globally distributed network of proxy servers deployed in multiple data centers, Content may include web objects (text, graphics, and scripts), downloadable objects (media files, software and documents), applications (e-commerce, portals), able to monitor applications that have security clearance, able to handle various types of security protocols, include internet applications, including Microsoft Internet Explorer, analyze individual transactions on the applications monitored, various metrics, such as response time and page-by-page performance data, available for display in real time, as well as in the form of historical web performance reports, including image capture capabilities to automatically generate a record of the pages accessed by the script, capture live sessions, such as links that customers accessed, and display pages that caused issues, capable of interfacing with live streaming media, on-demand streaming media, and social networks, capable of monitoring applications designed for mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android.
