[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide Transcript Capture and Evaluation System for the selection and implementation of a system to expedite data entry and evaluation of college, military, and high school transcripts to allow for consistency in transfer of courses, increase staff efficiency, and to expedite the time for evaluations for advisors and students to complete degree plans, to read and capture transcript data from digital and hard-copy sources that transfers data to Colleague by Ellucian and work closely throughout the implementation process with the College’s Information Services team and additional stakeholders.
A. Data Entry of Receipt of Transcript
- Work with Perceptive Content as scanning and linking system
- Identify student record in Colleague from scanned transcript, including student name changes
- Identify institution data from scanned transcript, including institution name changes
- Provide an interface for staff to check and edit transcript data prior to import into Colleague
- Import student, institution, and transcript type (college, military, and high school), and received date into Colleague forms
- Import high school GPA into Colleague forms
- Evaluate course data from transcript via Colleague’s course equivalency database (TCEQ) to match known equivalencies
- For duplicate TCEQ entries, give evaluator choice of which to use and provide info about each one (dates, titles, credits)
- For newly determined equivalencies, store course equivalency in Colleague TCEQ
- Store external course data and equivalencies in student record in appropriate Colleague forms.
(2) A pre-proposal conference will be held on September 27, 2018.
(3) A contract period will be for two years.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
