[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide legal services for the client assistance program to the government authority located in Baltimore, MD. Provision of services shall include:
- Provision of legal services to clients referred to the legal services provider to ensure the protection of the rights of such individuals under the rehabilitation act: provision of legal services (giving legal advice, meeting with agency staff, reviewing case records, conducting research and representing clients at hearings conducted at the office of administrative hearings and judicial reviews at the circuit court as appropriate).
- Accept client cases referred for legal services from staff.
- Meet with clients to review appeal concerns and to prepare clients for the appeal hearing.
- Review client case records, in the division of rehabilitation services and offices, within the amount of time consistent with standard regulatory and statutory time-frame per case.
- provide legal representation for clients at the office of administrative hearings and when appropriate, at the circuit court level.
