[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide medical consultant services shall develop appropriate departmental directives for disease outbreak and disease intervention, conduct on-site inspections at correctional facilities where outbreaks of disease may have occurred, employees related to specific infectious diseases and illnesses in conjunction with the community standard of care, semi-annual in-service training and updates to agency staff for mandatory training, news releases and informational fact sheets as necessary, accurate medical interpretation for the mandatory respiratory protection physicals, annually review and write all standing orders and prescriptions, develop sound, realistic plans and coordinate activities to meet the appropriate community standards of care for disease intervention by effectively utilizing the capabilities of people and other resources to distribute, regulate and complete work, present medical perspectives that are easily understood and take appropriate action to minimize anxiety amongst staff when there are outbreaks of infectious diseases within the correctional community to the government authority located Baltimore, MD.
