[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide administrative organization services for pubic behavioral health system includes provider management and maintenance, participant relations, registration, authorization and utilization management, participant and provider assistance and communication, quality management and evaluation, eligibility, claims processing, and special projects or new initiatives to the government authority located in Baltimore, MD.
- Ensure that services provided are medically necessary and provided in the least restrictive setting appropriate.
- Manage a seamless system of care for eligible individuals regardless of the payer and funding source; and collect all data for publicly funded health services regardless of payer.
- Produce and analyze data.
- Register into the contractor’s management information system system and maintain information and qualifications on licensed, approved Medicaid and behavioral health providers, monitor quality of care, and ensure coordination of services for high cost and high-risk users.
- Engage with routinely to share national trends, evidence-based practices, and scope of coverage in other states’ Medicaid programs and share expertise in the development and implementation of behavioral health services.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than December 28, 2018.
(3) A pre-proposal conference will be held on December 18, 2018.
