Government Authority located in Baltimore, Maryland; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for assistant director service.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide assistant director service to ensure secondary school students are provided with opportunities to express and exchange opinions, and develop leadership and advocacy skills to the government authority located in Baltimore, MD.
- The assistant director will also work with other state agencies and community groups to promote youth development theory and youth involvement in decision-making state-wide.
- Provide support and leads training workshops for the regional advisors to include sponsoring at least one advisor meeting to inform advisors of their role in developing the organization and student leaders. Plan advisor meetings and training sessions at major conferences.
- Schedule, plan, and facilitate executive board meetings in June, August, October, December, and February of each year.
- Plan and implement three major leadership conference each year: fall leadership conference, legislative session, and convention.
- Oversee the selection and election process of the student member on the state board of education.
- Oversee financial responsibilities of the organization including the reimbursement process, check requests, and overseeing the annual budget.
- Schedule and plan quarterly meetings with the assistant state superintendent for the division of student support, academic enrichment, and academic policy, director of the youth development branch and officers.
- Provide weekly updates to the director of the youth development branch regarding current status.
- Annually update the assistant state superintendent for the division of student support, academic enrichment, and academic policy, deputy superintendent for school effectiveness, and the state superintendent of schools regarding the status of student representation on local school boards and prepares the president to present updates of activities to the state board.
- Coordinate and assist with special student outreach initiatives assigned by the director of the youth development branch, assistant state superintendent for the division of student support, academic enrichment, and academic policy, deputy of school effectiveness, and the state superintendent of schools.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than December 07, 2018.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
